What information does Western Athletic Clubs collect?
Currently, Western Athletic Clubs (and it’s individual club websites for Bay Club Marin, The San Francisco Bay Club, Decathlon Club, Golden Gateway Tennis & Swim Club, Bay Club Financial District, Bay Club/ SF Tennis Club, Courtside Club, Pacific Athletic Club/Redwood Shores, Bay Club/Ross Valley Tennis & Swim, and Pacific Athletic Club/San Diego) gathers information, such as name, email address and zip code strictly for contact purposes when users opt to fill out an email submission form to inquire about our company and about membership. In some cases, we may ask for other optional information, including additional contact information and certain demographic information, such as phone number and gender.

How do we use this information?
We may use your information to communicate our weekly club e-newsletter service, as well as Western Athletic Clubs special offers, programs, promotions, and general company information to you via email. If you do not wish to receive these emails, you will have the option to opt out of future mailings (see section below). We may also use your information to compile usage statistics and other data regarding the use of the website services we offer our members.

We will not share your personally identifiable information with third parties, outside of the limited circumstances referenced in the paragraph immediately below.

How do we use your email information?
We collect email information to provide a more personalized and relevant experience for our members. If you give us your email address, we will send you emails about Western Athletic Clubs special offers, programs, promotions, new club openings and other general company information.

If you want to opt out of receiving promotional emails, simply click on the unsubscribe link located on the bottom of all of our emails. Although we strive to update our email list as frequently as possible, you might receive another contact before we are able to remove you.

If you have previously opted out of receiving emails from us and wish to reverse this decision, please contact the Business Office at your home Club. We’ll be happy to get your name back on the list to receive electronic communications from us.

Please note that you will continue to receive Member Services related communications as they pertain to your member account. Western Athletic Clubs may use any of your contact information held on file (i.e., including email, mailing address, phone or fax number) to communicate with you in regards to general administrative business, such as membership hold requests, membership account questions, and important Club service alerts.

Western Athletic Clubs never sells or rents your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information to third parties.

We only share user information in the ways described below:

Agents: We do employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Some examples include website maintenance, sending postal mail and email, removing outdated and repetitive information from member lists, analyzing Club data, and providing marketing assistance.
